Hunters Creek Elementary (HCE) is thrilled to announce the return of the annual Autism Awareness Night, scheduled for April 25th from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. (10650 Beinhorn Road, Houston, TX. 77024). This event warmly welcomes families of students attending schools in SBISD.
Anticipating an even bigger event than previous years, this year's night promises to surpass expectations. Last year, HCE proudly hosted nearly 500 attendees, doubling the school's previous turnout! This remarkable growth underscores the significance of raising awareness and nurturing inclusivity within the entire SBISD community.
The event serves as a beacon for families to unite beyond school hours and honor the extraordinary talents of SBISD students with autism. Guests will move through interactive stations crafted to captivate and enlighten. From an engaging Autism-themed photo booth to a sensory lab immersion, there's an experience tailored for everyone. Exciting new activities this year include a lively field day-style obstacle course and delectable treats from Howdy Homemade Katy Ice Cream and Bitty and Beau's Coffee.
Beyond the enjoyment lies a wealth of valuable resources and insights. Organizations such as Belong Bakery, Aspire Accessories, and Social Motion will host booths featuring informative materials and goodies. These businesses employing individuals with disabilities epitomize the essence of fostering a supportive environment where Every Child can flourish. Families will witness firsthand the boundless opportunities available to all.
