Bright spots of generosity shining across the district

In this season of blessings and giving, many, many Spring Branch ISD partners have brightened the holidays for families in need during this difficult time in our city and country.

Thank you to our partners for generously donating gifts for students and families across the district. Here are few examples:

  • Seitel Incorporated – provided gifts to students and their families at Panda Path School for Early Learning and gift cards for the classrooms 
  • Pines Presbyterian – provided gifts to Sherwood families
  • Nottingham Forest Mom’s Club -- adopted 20 families from Meadow Wood Elementary
  • Chapelwood United Methodist Church -- adopted five families from Spring Forest Middle School and Housman Elementary
  • National Junior Honor Society at Spring Forest Middle School with Communities in Schools -- coordinated presents for 15+ families through Angel Tree Holiday program
  • Frostwood Elementary PTA– provided a gift for every student in grades 3-5 at their sister school, Housman Elementary
  • Lily’s Toy Box –gave gifts for every student at Housman in grades K-2
  • Faith Center -- gave gifts for 20 Housman families
  • Hope City – sponsored gifts for 4 Housman families
  • Memorial Drive Presbyterian – gave gift cards for Housman families
  • Chick-fil-A on Silber Road– held toy drive for students at Cedar Brook Elementary
  • Warehouse 72 restaurant – held a toy drive for Westwood Elementary students
  • Long Point Baptist Church with Houston First Baptist Church – donated five bikes for students at Landrum Middle School
