Class of 2019 Valedictorians and Salutatorians

Spring Branch ISD’s five high schools have announced valedictorians and salutatorians for the graduating Class of 2019.

This year, one high school will conduct a graduation ceremony on Friday, May 24, and four SBISD campuses will host their graduation ceremonies on Saturday, May 25.

Westchester Academy names 6 co-valedictorians and 7 co-salutatorians

Westchester Academy for International Studies has named six co-valedictorians and seven co-salutatorians to represent the Class of 2019.

Graduating seniors at Westchester Academy will receive their diplomas at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 24, at Don Coleman Coliseum.

The Class of 2019’s co-valedictorians are Bryan Chun, Lucia Fernanda Navarro Amaya, Dustin-Dat Thanh Nguyen, Matthew Rosca-Halmagean, William Cavedo Row and Monserrat Irene Verdejo.

Co-salutatorians at Westchester Academy are Max Fernando Filobelo, Preston Wayne Graham, Maria Fernanda Paredes, Ana Gabriela Rivera, Meredith Munson Schomburg, Nadya Jolande Van De Coevering and Jennifer Vidal.

Spring Woods High School names 4 co-valedictorians and 2 co-salutatorians

Spring Woods High School has named four co-valedictorians and two co-salutatorians. 

Graduating seniors at this SBISD high school will receive their diplomas at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, at Don Coleman Coliseum.

The Class of 2019’s co-valedictorians are Grace Elaine Gabriel, Madeline Michelle Hernandez, Caroline Avery Neal and Nhi Linh Tran.

Spring Woods High co-salutatorians are Helen Pavon and Naomi Reyna.

Stratford High names 54 co-valedictorians and 6 co-salutatorians

Stratford High School has named 54 co-valedictorians and six co-salutatorians to represent the Class of 2019.

Graduating Stratford High seniors will receive their diplomas at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, at Don Coleman Coliseum.

The Class of 2019’s co-valedictorians include Emma Grace Balevic, Claire Ellen Barber, Charlotte Scott Benes, Preston Walker Bouwhuis, Mary Ann Brasher, Grace Elizabeth Broom, Evan Lew Chan, Stephen Hyunsoo Cho, Keri Elizabeth Collins, Abigail Faith Coltrin, Esmé Evelyn Conkright, Grace Elizabeth Custer, Amy Katherine Djuvik, Lauren Olivia Dodds, Conor Sean Donihoo, Elise Juliet Easton, Madeline Jane Eyre, Audrey Katherine Ford, Grace Elizabeth Gibler, Ann Elizabeth Goss, Samuel Walden Habel, William Cullen Hannigan, Georgia Grant Harper, Sean Lu Healy, Caleb Patrick Hirst, Allyson Grace Hollister and Jihye Hur.

This year’s co-salutatorians at Stratford High are Makenzie Morgan Hattig, Samantha Faith Kang, Abigail Murphy McCall, Jeffrey Dylan Moore, Madeline Mary Suerth and Isabella Terrazas.

Northbrook High School and YES Prep Northbrook High each name a valedictorian and salutatorian 

Northbrook High School and the first class at YES Prep Northbrook High have named separate valedictorians and salutatorians to represent their Class of 2019 graduates.

Graduating Northbrook High and YES Prep Northbrook High seniors will receive diplomas at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, at Don Coleman Coliseum.

Class of 2019’s valedictorian at Northbrook High is Priscilla Bello; the salutatorian is Wendy Roman Roman. 

YES Prep Northbrook High’s valedictorian is Dylan Quan Phan, while Andrea Yvette Grimaldo is class salutatorian.

Memorial High names 30 co-valedictorians and 6 co-salutatorians

Memorial High School has named 30 co-valedictorians and 6 co-salutatorians to represent the Class of 2019.

Graduating Memorial High seniors will receive their diplomas at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, at Don Coleman Coliseum.

The Class of 2019’s co-valedictorians include Maria Leonor Amador, Subin Bae, Aneesa Zarah Bhakta, Donalyn Marie Bily, Nia Meesung Choi, Lillian Ivanna Dolapchiev, Thomas Drake Graves, Finn Thomas Haddon, Timothy Jisuk Hong, Merrick Zhihong Huang, Hyungyu Ju, Amanda Nicole Junek, Kara Nicole Kiest, Serena Jiyeon Kim and Tianrun Ma.

Memorial High co-valedictorians also include Evelyn Campbell McClure, John Richard Morico, David Takuma Nemoto Jr., Alexandria Reagan Papin, Min Woo Park, Rebecca Cameron Read, Nina Vladimirovna Solovyeva, Isha Kamakshi Thapar, Ruhi Rajeshree Thapar, Samuel McCay Trout, Crystal Qing Wang, Emma Elizabeth Wells, Taylor Hagan White, Frederick Durham Wilhelm and Ray Yu.  

This year’s co-salutatorians at Memorial High are Taylor Gretzky Gee, Kathryn Jean Kazanas, Mariel Alexis Ong Lopez, Sina Saberi Vand Chali, Sidney Ann Schmitz and Lauren Ming Yang.

For the safety and security of all graduates and families, no backpacks or oversized bags will be allowed in the Coliseum. Restricted items for inside the coliseum include flowers, gifts, food and drinks, signs, balloons and all noisemakers.

Don Coleman Coliseum is located at 1050 Dairy Ashford, adjacent to the Stratford High School campus.
