Spring Branch Independent School District (SBISD) Special Education will host a comprehensive Resources Fair on November 8th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Shadow Oaks Elementary, located at 1335 Shadowdale Dr., Houston, TX, 77079.

This free event is open to students with disabilities of all ages, along with their families and guardians.

The resources fair will give parents and students an opportunity to connect with and learn about programs and services designed to support and enhance the lives of students with disabilities. Some of these resources include special needs camps, university programs for students with disabilities, guardianships and special needs trusts. 

A multitude of community resources specializing in areas like medical care, personal care, financial planning, future training and education, and potential employment will be present. Agencies that offer service coordination, respite services, and social skills resources will also participate in the fair.

Attending this fair provides an opportunity to join waitlists early and to make necessary plans for future support. In addition to the abundance of useful information and resources, light refreshments will also be available for attendees.
