December Teachers Driving Success: Bunker Hill Elementary’s Lauren Nye
The Spring Branch ISD Community Engagement team has announced Lauren Nye, a teacher from Bunker Hill Elementary School (BHE), as the December Teachers Driving Success winner.
“Ms. Nye provides an engaging learning environment for her students,” says BHE Principal Desiree Rios. “She continuously seeks unique experiences that allow students to explore, inquire and learn in creative ways!”
In recognition of her dedication and drive for success, Nye received a gas gift card and gift basket from Sterling McCall Lexus.
Teachers Driving Success is a monthly teacher appreciation program sponsored by SBISD Good Neighbor and partner Sterling McCall Group, which recognizes classroom teachers and their efforts to help students prosper.
Each month, principals are invited to nominate one classroom teacher from their campus for the way in which they are driving success. The Community Engagement team conducts a monthly lottery drawing from nominations received to choose the Teachers Driving Success award winner.
