Discover more than 100 colleges and universities and find the right fit during College Night

When it comes to college, there is no such thing as too much information.

Spring Branch ISD is hosting College Night on Monday, Oct. 3 from 6-8 p.m. at Northbrook High, 1 Raider Circle, Houston, Texas 77080, where students and their families can explore colleges and career paths.

During the event, students can meet with representatives from colleges and universities, learn about financial aid and the application process and find what the best fit is for them.

“College Night is a fantastic opportunity for our students to develop connections with the schools they are interested in,” said Kelly Kretschmar, counselor at Northbrook High. “There’s no better way to learn where your perfect match is than by meeting representatives and asking questions!”

College Night will host more than 100 schools that are excited to provide students and their families with information. While it does not replace a campus visit, it gives students a glimpse into the college and helps them narrow down the school search.

“Attending College Night is a great opportunity to meet representatives that could be reading your application,” said Steve Nickerson, Memorial High counselor. “Be sure to attend and make the best impression so they remember you. Ask meaningful questions and shine like the star you are!”
