Dr. Jennifer Blaine Recognized with Bob Grossman Leadership in School Communications Award

 

Spring Branch Independent School District (SBISD) proudly announces that Dr. Jennifer Blaine, Superintendent of Schools, has been named this year’s recipient of the prestigious Bob Grossman Leadership in School Communications Award.

Dr. Blaine will be recognized at this summer's national conference of school public relations professionals for her outstanding leadership.

The Bob Grossman Leadership in School Communications Award is presented annually to a practicing superintendent or CEO of a school district, education agency, or service center who demonstrates exceptional commitment and innovation in school communication. This esteemed accolade is a testament to Dr. Blaine's dedication to fostering open and transparent communication within the community.

“Dr. Blaine is an exceptional communicator who prioritizes effective, strategic communications for herself and our entire school system. She demonstrates every leadership trait and communications program priority on which this prestigious award is based,” said SBISD Board of Trustees President Chris Earnest.

Dr. Blaine's unwavering support for communication initiatives, integration of communication into decision-making processes, and commitment to strategic communication management exemplify the spirit of this award.

"In today's rapidly evolving landscape, the importance of engagement and communication in public education has never been more critical," emphasized Linda Buchman, Associate Superintendent of Communications and Community Engagement in SBISD. "Dr. Blaine's visionary leadership has significantly elevated our district's communication efforts. Under her guidance, we have adopted innovative communication tools and strategies, ensuring that our community remains informed and deeply engaged."

As part of her recognition, Dr. Blaine will receive complimentary registration to the upcoming NSPRA National Seminar, where she will be formally presented with the award during a General Session.

Dr. Blaine will present a Skill Session during the Seminar, sharing her insights and expertise with education professionals from across the United States and Canada.
