Early voting for the Saturday, May 4, 2019, SBISD Trustee election begins Monday, April 22 and runs through Tuesday, April 30.
Trustee Positions 5, 6 and 7 are open for election. Position 5 is the only contested seat, with incumbent J. Carter Breed, 59, a real estate broker, facing a challenge from David E. Lopez, 25, a teacher.
Position 6 is held by Pam Goodson, 50, a community volunteer, who is unopposed for a fourth term.
Position 7 is held by Karen Peck, 56, an attorney, who is unopposed for a third term.
