HCC sponsors college day at Landrum Middle School

Students at Landrum Middle School sported HCC shirts at a recent "T-2-4" day.

HCC provided t-shirts to more than 200 on-campus students to wear on Tuesdays when Landrum promotes college completion.

Spring Branch T-2-4, as it is called, is guiding Spring Branch ISD teachers, schools, and leadership in shaping the future of education for the benefit of students, area families, and the larger community. The long-range goal is for every SBISD graduate to attain a technical certificate, military training, or a two-year or four-year degree. By 2022 SBISD is striving to have the number of students achieving T-2-4 increase from 44 percent to 72 percent.

HCC and Landrum Middle School have teamed up to shift the school’s culture and plant the seed of attending college in students before they reach high school. Other partnering events are planned between HCC and the district to help SBISD reach their goals.
