Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) invites you to the Destination Success Career Discovery event on Saturday, October 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Memorial High School, 935 Echo Ln., Houston, TX 77024.
This is a fantastic opportunity for families to equip their children with essential insights into college and career pathways.
Join us for a FREE day of career exploration filled with engaging activities for ALL ages. Feel free to come in costumes—while they’re encouraged, they’re not required!
Lori Vereen, a CTE Facilitator in SBISD, shared her excitement for the event. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to explore the Programs of Study available in SBISD. You can discover your true passions, meet teachers who will provide insights about the courses, and engage in interactive activities,” Vereen said.

- Play Cyber Threat Defender - Information Technology
- Face Painting, Tattoo Booth, Hair Extensions, Nail Polish Applications - Cosmetology
- Cookie Decorating - Culinary
- Vital Signs Check - Health Science
- Green Screen Station - Create Digital Effects using Photoshop and After Effects - Digital Marketing
- Drone Demonstration – NJROTC
- V5 Robots-Engineering
- Video Presentation - Film Making
- Teddy Bear Clinic- Health Science
- Wind Turbine Activity-Engineering
“CTE programs are not just for those interested in technical fields,” Vereen said. “They also provide valuable skills applicable in areas such as Health Science, Business, and Engineering.”
