Celebrating Our Subs Friday, Nov. 16! 

 
Friday, Nov. 16 is National Substitute Educators Day. Countless wonderful individuals fill in for permanent teachers every day in the United States. We call these individuals Substitutes. Substitute Educators Day focuses on the importance of substitute school employees.
 
These professional educators perform a vital function in the maintenance and continuity of daily education. We are #thankful for our substitutes in SBISD.
 
Benefits of being a Substitute Teacher:

  • Sharpen your teaching skills, whether you're just starting in the field or returning after time away
