Law Enforcement Appreciation Day recognized in SBISD

In honor of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (Jan. 9), the Spring Branch ISD Police Department was recently presented with a large #SBISDProud sign for the break room at the Command Center.

Each SBISD PD staff member and officer also received tokens of appreciation to thank them for their service to the people and facilities of the district, including #SBISDProud magnets to attach to their cars, lockers or desks.

Under the leadership of Chief Bruce Dareing, the 58-person (and two-dog) police force provides 24-hours-a-day security at more than 60 facilities, across 44 square miles, and seven different cities and villages.

“Receiving the recognition of the officers, tele communicators and staff of the SBISD Police Department was a true testament to their dedication and service to SBISD,” said Chief Dareing.

“Members of the SBISD Police Department strive to be quiet professionals who are always on duty, ready to serve and are part of the Collective Greatness of the district. It is honor to be part of this great team and we are thankful for the recognition shown to us.”

The unsung heroes of the SBISD Police Department deserve appreciation every day, not just once a year.

Join in thanking them for their non-stop embodiment of each of the SBISD Core Values: Every Child, Collective Greatness, Collaborative Spirit, Limitless Curiosity and Moral Compass.
