Spring Branch ISD’s mentor program, SpringBoard Mentoring, is seeking new mentors for the 2021-22 school year. Mentors play a critical role in helping students discover their strengths and instilling the belief that students can achieve more than they think is possible.
In Spring Branch ISD, we firmly believe that Every Child can benefit from the impact that our community can have by partnering with us. By showing up and demonstrating they care, mentors in Spring Branch ISD assist students in grades 3 – 12 by offering guidance, encouragement, and support.
They provide young people with the skills needed to address and overcome things that may discourage them from reaching their potential. In just 30-45 minutes weekly, mentors supply the gift of hope and give young people a vision of success. While experience is not a prerequisite, enthusiasm and dedication are!
As a SpringBoard mentor, you will receive the training, tools, and resources to help you successfully build an impactful relationship with your student match … and of course, have some fun along the way. Data shows that 95% of students with mentors are more focused at school, happier, and socially and emotionally better adjusted. Join the SpringBoard Mentor Program and make a positive impact in the life of a student on the brink of success.
