Mark Your Calendars: Key dates to support the path to T-2-4 Success

As families and students prepare for the upcoming school year, it’s important to mark several key dates that support Spring Branch ISD’s T-2-4 vision—ensuring every SBISD graduate will attain a technical certificatemilitary training, or a two-year or four-year degree

Here are the key dates to remember for the 2025–2026 school year:

  • October 1, 2025 – FAFSA & TASFA Application Sites Open
The financial aid journey begins! Students planning to attend college should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) as early as possible.

  • October 8, 2025 – College Night
Families and students are invited to connect with representatives from colleges, universities, and career programs. This is a great opportunity to explore postsecondary options.

  • November 17–21, 2025 – T-2-4 Week
A weeklong celebration of college and career planning across our schools. Expect themed activities, college awareness events, and more.

  • January 15, 2026 – State Priority Deadline for FAFSA
To maximize potential financial aid, students are strongly encouraged to submit their FAFSA by this state priority deadline.

  • May 1, 2026 – National Decision Day
A day to celebrate students’ college and career choices. Whether attending a university, community college, technical school, or enlisting in the military—every path counts.

As always, students are encouraged to meet with their school counselors to discuss college and career planning. For more information, tools, and resources, visit the SBISD T-2-4 website at www.springbranchisd.com/T24.
