Meet Dr. Kedrick Lookadoo

Dr. Kedrick Lookadoo begins the 2025–26 school year as principal of Landrum Middle School (LMS), bringing with him 23 years of experience in public education—10 of those within Spring Branch ISD (SBISD).

A seasoned educator and servant leader, Dr. Lookadoo is dedicated to building a thriving school culture where students, staff and families feel connected, challenged and supported.

When asked to describe his leadership philosophy in one word, he chose empowerment.

"Leadership is about building others up—giving them the confidence, tools and voice to succeed in all areas of life," said Dr. Lookadoo. "When people feel empowered, they rise to the occasion, lead with purpose and achieve meaningful results."

Looking ahead to the school year, Dr. Lookadoo said he is excited to work with his team to foster a culture rooted in collaboration, high expectations and a strong sense of belonging. His goal is to ensure every student at Landrum Middle thrives—academically, socially and personally.

“I lead with integrity, vision and heart,” he said. “I’m a servant leader who is committed to doing what’s best for students every single day. I believe in the power of relationships and results, and I’m here to serve.”

Dr. Lookadoo is firmly grounded in SBISD’s Core Value of Every Child: Every child. Every day. Every minute. Every way.

Words of wisdom: Every moment matters. Stay focused, stay grounded and stay connected to your “why.” Together, we can achieve excellence.

Just for fun: Dr. Lookadoo has a passion for learning, research and mentoring others. He enjoys exploring new cities, experiencing diverse cultures and is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
