Spring Branch ISD is hosting Parent U: Planning for the Future for sixth to 12th-grade families on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 8:45 a.m. via Zoom. The virtual conference-style event will help students and families discover what steps need to be taken today to have a successful tomorrow.
Students and families will participate in learning sessions that will cover college applications, study skills, career exploration, understanding financial aid, Career and Technical Education opportunities, and more. A full list of learning sessions offered is available on the Parent U site.
The Parent U event will be hosted by the SBISD Family Education, Engagement and Empowerment (Family E3) team, which is committed to sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration and equipping families with the resources to support their students.
Events like this engage families in planning for their student’s future which reinforces SBISD’s T-2-4 vision, where every graduate attains a technical certificate, military training, or a two-year or four-year degree.
