Spring Branch ISD is encouraging students to be part of the 2023 Winter Reading Challenge, happening from Dec. 21, 2023 - Jan. 8, 2024.
The goal is for each participating student to log at least 400 reading minutes by the end the challenge.
One grand prize will be awarded for each level:
- Elementary: Dash Coding Robot Kit
- Middle: Nintendo Switch
- High: Oculus Quest 2 VR Headset Kit
To be eligible for a grand prize drawing, a student must log at least 400 minutes in Beanstack by January 8. Grand prize drawings will be held shortly after the deadline.
Students are encouraged to track their reading minutes through the Beanstack dashboard which can be accessed through their Clever account.
SBISD is dedicated to supporting literacy. Through programs like the Winter Reading Challenge, students can strengthen their language skills, expand their vocabularies and learn to think critically.
