Ready to Rodeo! SBISD celebrates annual Go Texan Day festivities
On Friday, Feb. 23, Spring Branch ISD students and staff celebrated Go Texan Day. As the unofficial kickoff of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR), Go Texan Day is celebrated annually the Friday before the Houston Rodeo commences. It is meant to generate excitement for western heritage and agricultural education and serves as a day for SBISD students and staff to dress in their finest boots, hats and button-ups as they get ready for the rodeo!
