In her own words . . .

“My inspiration: Music is something I have been chasing my entire life. I chose a path in life that has not always been easy, but it has always had magic. This is something I aspire to share with my students on a daily basis. I want them to chase musically magic moments in their lives. I want them to always chase after something that moves them, even if it’s not music. I feel honored to be recognized for this magic.”

In the words of others . . .

“The best way to witness Elizabeth’s enthusiasm for her students and for teaching is to visit her in the classroom. Whether she is working with her Special Education class, or with her highest level varsity musicians, Elizabeth works daily to instill the joy of making quality music, and the importance of setting high standards, to the many students of Northbrook Middle School and the Spring Branch Girls Choir.”

Greg Morgan, former Spring Oaks Middle School Choir Director and Aldine High School Choir Director
