The Spring Branch ISD Community Engagement team is excited to announce the final Teachers Driving Success winner of the 2020-2021 school year, Frances Martinez from Treasure Forest Elementary!
In her nomination, Principal Karina Avalos wrote, “Mrs. Martinez teaches fourth grade Reading and Writing for our bilingual students. Her dedication and professionalism toward students, parents and staff and other community members has been incredible. Mrs. Martinez is an ABYDOS trainer and a big believer that ALL of her students can be great readers and writers regardless of the reading level they enter her classroom at the beginning of the school year. All of the students in [her] classroom have made at least a year's growth from the moment she received them at the beginning of the year.”
Ms. Martinez will receive a 2021 Cadillac for the month of May, courtesy of program sponsor Sterling McCall Group, in recognition for the ways she drives success on her campus. Congratulations, Ms. Martinez!
