SBISD Names the Class of 2020 Good Neighbors

Good neighbors abound in Spring Branch ISD, a small town in a big city.

As in a vibrant neighborhood, the members of the SBISD Class of 2020 Good Neighbors have generously provided time and treasure for the benefit of students and staff during the ups and downs of the past year.

This collection of over 240 corporate, educational, faith-based, governmental, local business, non-profit and individual partners is being recognized for supporting our students, schools and system during the 2019-20 school year.

In ordinary times, and in these extraordinary times, the Collective Greatness of our Good Neighbors helps us achieve T-2-4 success for Every Child. From the cadres of mentors and tutors who provided social-emotional and academic support for students, to the book, food and clothing drives that delivered essential resources and supplies to students and families, to the opportunities and open doors that helped shape our students’ post-secondary plans, and so much more – SBISD is so thankful for neighbors like these!

Established in 2006, the SBISD Good Neighbor program celebrates, recognizes and encourages strategic support of our district. Traditionally, Good Neighbors commit to completing three or more strategic activities in support of SBISD or the Spring Branch Education Foundation (SBEF). This year, due to the shortened 2019-20 school year, this class of Good Neighbors is recognized for completing two or more partnership activities.
