National Volunteer Week is April 7-13, 2019
Each year, National Volunteer Week is an opportunity to recognize and thank volunteers who lend their time, talent and treasure to make a difference in our schools and community for #EveryChild.
“In Spring Branch ISD, we value the opportunity to partner with our community and appreciate the investment our partners and volunteers make in our students, teachers, schools, and District. Thank you, volunteers, for your selfless contributions to our school and community.” Community Relations Officer Linda Buchman said.
Whether it is a high school student who donates her time to organizing mentoring activities at a local elementary school, a grandmother making costumes for middle school theater performances, or a nonprofit organization fufilling their Good Neighbor Program pledge with a donation of resources to support school programming, doing good comes in many forms, and we recognize and celebrate them all. Volunteers enrich the lives of all SBISD students and for that we are thankful.
