The Spring Branch ISD Community Engagement team has announced Ashlee Wilson, an English Language Arts teacher at the Spring Branch Academic Institute (SBAI), as the April Teachers Driving Success winner. 

“I am speechless!” said Wilson. “It is an honor to be recognized but it is a bigger honor to be part of the SBAI team and to have the opportunity to teach our amazing students.” 

In recognition of her dedication and drive for success, Wilson received a $300 gift card and a gift backpack from Sterling McCall BMW Advantage Midtown, this month’s program sponsor. 

“Mrs. Wilson is SBAI's Teacher of the Year and a stellar teacher. She goes above and beyond for her students, making sure she individualizes them,” said Patricia Kassir, SBAI principal.
“She is an asset to her team, as she readily shares her expertise with others. She exemplifies what a Spring Branch ISD teacher should be about.”

Teachers Driving Success is a monthly teacher appreciation program sponsored by SBISD Good Neighbor Sterling McCall Group, which recognizes classroom teachers and their efforts to help students prosper. 

Each month, principals are invited to nominate one classroom teacher from their campus for how they are driving success. SBISD Community Engagement conducts a monthly lottery drawing from nominations received to choose the Teachers Driving Success award winner.
