Spring Branch Education Foundation plans Golf Classic

Spring Branch Education Foundation board members Scooter Hicks and Jay Sartain are eagerly planning the 23rd annual SBEF Golf Classic slated for Sunday, April 14 at the BlackHorse Golf Club in Cypress. All proceeds from the tournament benefit Spring Branch ISD’s 35,000 students through education-enhancing grants and scholarships.

The tournament is a four-player team scramble and includes a raffle, mulligans, a sponsored drive for scholarships and contests for putting, longest drive and ball closest to the hole. Breakfast and lunch are included. Breakfast and registration begin and 8 a.m. with a shotgun start following at 9:30 a.m.

Registration for teams and individuals are open through Monday, April 8: teams, $2,000; individuals, $500. Visit the SBEF website to register for the event or to sign on as a sponsor. Call the SBEF office, 713.251.2381, for more information.
