Spring Branch Education Foundation provides more than $200,000 to creative initiatives across the district

 

The Spring Branch Education Foundation provided over $211,000 in grant funding during the 2021-22 school year! 

These grants support SBISD students as they explore a variety of skills and interests leading to future careers. From reading to writing to cooking to technology to art, SBEF's grants offer the district and our teachers funding to help our students work toward their goals for the future.

As the school year starts, consider helping your campus by donating today. Donations ensure our educators and students can dream big and achieve big! 

The grant recipients include: 

  • Altharetta Yeargin Art Museum - Exploring the World through Art, $39,726 
  • Bunker Hill Elementary - Stock the New BHE Science Lab, $4,860 
  • Community Engagement - J. Landon Short Mini Grant for Educators Program, $15,000 
  • Community Engagement - SBISD Mentoring Programs, $10,000 
  • Community Engagement - Character Without Question, $5,000 
  • Community Engagement - ReadSBISD Parent Guides for Pre-K4 Families 
  • Edgewood Elementary - Edgewood Elementary Audio System Installation, $5,000 
  • Elementary Student Support Program - ESSP Expectation Excellence, $4,710 
  • Hunters Creek Elementary/Fourth Grade - It’s Getting STEAMy, $5,000
  • Library and Media Services - Summer Reading 2022, $2,500
  • Lion Lane - From the Ground Up, $5,000 
  • Memorial High/Athletics Department - Sports Nutrition Education Program, $3,600 
  • Northbrook High Athletic Training Department - Spring Branch ISD Nutritional Proposal, $3,600
  • Nottingham Elementary - Cracking the Code in Reading with Decodables, $5,000
  • Pine Shadows Elementary - Oral Language Development Resources for Second Language Learners, $5,000
  • Rummel Creek Elementary - ALL Means ALL: Encouraging Collaboration through Communication, $5,000
  • Spring Branch Academic Institute - Dragons Take the Gulf Coast, $3,000
