Spring Branch ISD Names Dr. Annie Wolfe Associate Superintendent for Academics

Spring Branch Independent School District (SBISD) has named Dr. Annie Wolfe as its Associate Superintendent for Academics, a role she assumes permanently after serving as interim.

Dr. Wolfe brings over 20 years of educational experience to her new role. Most recently, she served as the Interim Associate Superintendent for Academics and Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction in SBISD. Her previous administrative roles in Katy ISD, Houston ISD, and Gwinnett County Public Schools, Georgia, have equipped her with extensive knowledge of research-based practices to benefit Every Child. Beginning her career in education at the middle school level teaching math and English/language arts, she later served as an instructional coach and math specialist, enriching her understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.

"In addition to her extensive experience in education and administration, Dr. Wolfe brings a deep commitment to effective instruction and a proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, families, and students," stated Dr. Jennifer Blaine, Superintendent of Schools for SBISD.

"Students are at the heart of our mission," said Dr. Wolfe. "Our goal is to ensure that every SBISD student achieves T-2-4 success. This requires a cohesive team of educators and staff who are empowered to deliver their best, all focused on one thing—student success. I am excited to build upon the foundation already established by our dedicated team and district, and eagerly anticipate serving our students and community in this new capacity."
