Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) soccer teams had dominant runs in district play, with six teams advancing to the bi-district playoffs across both boys' and girls' divisions.
In District 17-6A girls, Stratford High School claimed the title of district champion, with Memorial High School securing the district runner-up spot. In 17-6A boys, Northbrook High School finished as district runner-up, while Memorial High School took third place.
Meanwhile, District 21-5A girls was dominated by Spring Woods High School, which earned the district championship title. On the boys' side, the Tigers emerged as co-district champions.
With multiple teams in contention, SBISD is well-represented in the bi-district round. Memorial defeated Heights High School 8-0 in the Bi-District round on Thursday, while Stratford outplayed Westside High School for an 8-0 victory earlier in the double-header at Stratford High School.
In 5A action, Spring Woods defeated Kempner 3-0 at Crump Stadium to move on to the next round. Details about the next round games will be made available at springbranchisd.com/athletics when they become available. SBISD supporters are encouraged to come out and cheer on their teams as they chase post-season success.
