Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) juniors and seniors had an amazing opportunity to explore engineering at Texas A&M University – College Station.
The students spent the day touring the impressive Zachry Engineering Building, a hub for innovation and learning, and got an up-close look at what life is like as an Aggie engineer.
One of the most exciting parts of the trip was the hands-on Spark! activity, where SBISD students had the chance to dive into real-world problem-solving and interactively explore different areas of engineering. This was an excellent opportunity for the students to challenge their creativity while gaining a clearer understanding of how engineering concepts are applied in real-world scenarios.
The group also heard directly from the College of Engineering about the admissions process, what it takes to succeed at Texas A&M, and the exciting opportunities available to Aggie engineers. From academics to campus life, students walked away with valuable insights into what it’s like to be part of the Texas A&M engineering community.
This incredible field trip was made possible by a generous grant from CITGO, and we’re grateful for their continued support in helping our students discover new possibilities for their future!
