Spring Branch Independent School District (SBISD) is excited to announce the grand opening of the new Memorial Drive Elementary School, a major project funded by the 2017 Bond Program.
Approved by 80 percent of voters in November 2017, this program continues the district’s commitment to transforming its facilities, following the successes of the 2007 Bond Program.
The new Memorial Drive Elementary, spanning 94,850 square feet, replaces a 1949 building and is designed for 550 students. It features modern, flexible learning spaces that promote collaboration and innovation.
The project was completed thanks to the collaborative efforts of SBISD, Stantec (project architect), Marshall Construction Company (Construction Manager at Risk), and a dedicated Project Advisory Team of staff, parents, and community members.
