Spring Branch ISD in Houston will host a free COVID-19 testing site Wednesday for students and their families and SBISD staff.
COVID PCR testing will be provided at Tully Stadium Wednesday, Jan. 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The testing will be conducted in partnership with Harris County Public Health at Tully every week on Wednesday.
Tully Stadium is located at 1050 Dairy Ashford.
COVID testing remains available as needed at schools for students who become symptomatic during school hours.
Spring Branch ISD also will host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic Saturday, Jan. 22, at Spring Branch Elementary School, 1700 Campbell Road in Houston, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The vaccine clinic will be held in conjunction with Harris County Public Health. First and second doses and booster shots will be available for all eligible community members ages five and up, including students, parents, and families.
SBISD held COVID vaccine clinics on Saturdays throughout the fall that provided hundreds of students, staff, and community members COVID vaccines and booster shots.
Spring Branch ISD has more than 33,600 students across 47 schools in Houston.
