Stratford High School Playhouse presents “Peter Pan”

The first show in the newly rebuilt Stratford auditorium will be a high-flying adventure for all!

The award-wining Stratford Playhouse is proud to present “Peter Pan the Musical”! Broadway’s timeless classic based on J. M. Barrie’s fairy tale whisks you away to Neverland filled with the villainous Captain Hook and his maties, the adventurous Lost Boys, beautiful mermaids, and wild jungle creatures.

Performing the original 1954 broadway version, this show will provide attendees with a truly epic introduction to the new Stratford High School Auditorium and its contemporary design and state-of-the-art features.

“We are so excited to finally perform in our brand-new grand auditorium and properly christen the new home of the Playhouse!” says CeCe Prudhomme, who has been a director at Stratford for more than 25 years.

“Stratford Playhouse couldn’t be more excited to perform ‘Peter Pan’. Not only do we fly scenery, but we will be flying our actors with the help of Flying by Troy, a professional company that specializes in stage flight. It is something that we have not been able to do without the height in our old space.  I can’t wait for everyone to experience it!” 

Tickets for “Peter Pan” are available for purchase online at shsplayhouse.org, or at the Stratford Box Office. Performances are scheduled for April 22, 23, 28-30 at 7:30 p.m., with matinee performances at 2:30 p.m. on April 23 and 30.

“Peter Pan”is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
