The award-winning Stratford Playhouse will present Nunsense Jan. 29 through Feb. 6, 2021 at The Queensbury Theatre. The season-opening musical will be presented away from the high school campus while the new Stratford High auditorium remains under construction through 2021.

“The amount of work our amazing actresses have put in so far is phenomenal. I have no doubt in my mind that this show will be one nobody will want to miss,” says Luke Centanni, the production’s student director.

Nunsense is a hilarious talent show staged by five survivors at the Little Sisters of the Hoboken nunnery. A Playhouse issued press release proclaims, “it’s a zany, wholesome, hilarious musical revue sure to start the new year with a Ha-Ha-lleluia!”

Tickets are $25 and available for purchase online at shsplayhouse.org. Scheduled performance dates are Jan. 29-30 and Feb. 4-6 at 7:30 p.m. nightly, with matinee performances scheduled at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 30 and Feb. 6.

The Queensbury Theatre is located at 12777 Queensbury Lane. For more details, go online or call 713.251.3449. This student musical is presented through special arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
