Stratford Playhouse wins five big Tommy Tune Awards
On April 28, The Stratford Playhouse musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, won five big Tommy Tune Awards:

Best Supporting Actor
Luke Centanni from Stratford High School as “Aldolpho” in The Drowsy Chaperone
Best Ensemble
Stratford High School, The Drowsy Chaperone
Best Costume Design
Stratford High School, The Drowsy Chaperone
Best Direction
Stratford High School, The Drowsy Chaperone
Traditionally, the annual awards show for high school musical theatre in the Greater Houston area is hosted at the Hobby Center. This year, the awards show sponsor, Theater Under the Stars (TUTS), announced winners during an online streaming event on Facebook and YouTube.
