10 SBISD seniors selected as CITGO Distinguished Scholars
CITGO Distinguished Scholars

Ten seniors from Spring Branch ISD received $5,000 scholarships through the CITGO Distinguished Scholars program.

This program was created to assist students planning to continue their education at two- or four-year universities.

A total of 40 scholarships was awarded to select class of 2022 graduates from Alief, Houston and Spring Branch Independent School Districts. Each of the Distinguished Scholars is being recognized not only for academic achievements but also for excellence in one of the following categories: Beating the Odds, Career & Technical Education, Communications, Performing & Fine Arts, S.T.E.M., Service & Leadership, Spirit and Student Athletics.

Spring Branch ISD is proud to have 10 students honored as CITGO Distinguished Scholars in the categories of Student Athletes, Performing & Fine Arts, Communication, Career & Technical Education (CTE), Service and Leadership, Beating the Odds and Spirit. Congratulations to these students and thank you to our Good Neighbors at CITGO for supporting our vision of T-2-4 success for Every Child!
