Thousands of community members unite at Spring Branch Super Saturday

On Saturday, April 23, Spring Branch Super Saturday: Unity in Our Community, presented by Spring Branch Education Foundation and Spring Branch ISD, brought nearly 5,000 community members together for a festival and celebration of the districts 75th anniversary. It was an event like no other in SBISD's history!

Attendees of all ages had a chance to visit 70 booths which included student clubs, sports teams, restaurants, local businesses and more! Twelve student performances on the main stage throughout the morning, emceed by Mix 96.5’s Morning Mix DJ Sarah Pepper, stole the show with live music, dancing and even a one-act play.

Attendees had the chance to take hayrides around the property, visit with animals at the petting zoo and play carnival games for prizes.

“Spring Branch Super Saturday was a huge success, and it was amazing to see the entire Spring Branch community come together in support of our students,” SBISD Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Blaine said. “This wouldn’t have been possible without the more than 80 high school students who planned the event and the district staff that made their dream a reality. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our district’s 75th anniversary!”
