Spring Woods High School student-athlete Genesis Harrell signed her national letter of intent on May 10 to run cross country at Tuskegee University. Joining her, Jairo Martinez and Mantrez McAlister officially concluded their football careers as Tigers by signing their national letters of intent to play collegiate football.
Martinez made history as the first Division I football signee out of Spring Woods since 2008. He signed with Houston Christian University (HCU), formerly known as HBU.
McAlister signed with Texas Lutheran University (TLU) and joins former Spring Woods Tigers Cy Cripps and Alijah Hall, who signed with TLU in 2022.
SBISD builds on the strengths and gifts of Every Child and is dedicated to ensuring they achieve T-2-4 success. Signing Day strengthens this vision and highlights that our graduates are reaching their potential.
