Spring Branch ISD Featured News

We are #SBISDthankful for our Education Support Professionals.

The National Education Association encourages school communities to celebrate American Education Week (AEW) Nov. 12-16.

The weeklong celebration honors Education Support Professionals (ESP) nationwide who dedicate their lives to nurturing and supporting the growth and development of Every Child.

Many of these professionals live in our community. They work to support and meet the needs of the whole student, every day in SBISD schools.

From the bus driver who safely delivers students to school, to the cafeteria worker who serves nutrition lunches, to the teacher in the classroom, American Education Week is a way to thank the ESPs in your life who are making a difference in the lives of children.

SBISD is #SBISDthankful for our Education Support Professionals and the continued support of our community and parents.

Our parents are active advocates and members of our schools and school communities. They are partners in student success through collaborations between schools, families, and community on behalf of Every Child.

Our partners provide mentors, fundraising opportunities, job shadowing, job placement, in-kind donations, volunteer opportunities and academic support to SBISD students and staff. Our partners also provide employee perks opportunities and other services to district employees.

What can you do? During this season of thanks, think about the teachers and education professionals in your child’s life. Are they making a positive impact? Let them know how their work is making a positive impact on the lives of children and the community.

SBISD Families are invited to take pictures of what makes them feel #SBISDthankful and proud of the schools and education professionals in their life. Share your photos @SBISD using the hashtags #SBISDThankful and #AEW2018.
