A message from Dr. Blaine

Superintendent of Schools

Dear Spring Branch ISD Families,

It’s almost time to kick off the 2021-22 school year! I am excited to welcome your children back to our schools and classrooms. Our educators and staff have been hard at work this summer to ensure Every Child has a strong start to the year.

Spring Branch ISD’s highest priority is the safety and well-being of our students and staff. Our adjusted health and safety protocols reflect a return to normalcy. Look for our safety brochure that will be sent home with your child the first week of school.

This school year, I will be reaching out to you via blog, email and video communications. Please subscribe to the Top Ten e-newsletter to stay up-to-date on what’s going on in Spring Branch ISD.

The year ahead marks 75 years of inspiring minds and shaping lives in Spring Branch! We look forward to celebrating throughout this anniversary year.

We remain committed to our T-2-4 goal of post-secondary success for Every Child. This year, we will begin to put into effect our new Core Characteristics of a T-2-4 Ready Graduate. Look for resources on how you can support this important work as the year unfolds.

With an intentional focus on our priorities of Literacy, Numeracy, English Learners, Social-Emotional Supports and Career & Technical Education, I am confident we will provide experiences our students need and deserve.

I can’t wait to see your children’s smiling faces on Monday, August 16. Have a strong start to the year ahead!

Jennifer Blaine, Ed.D.
