Reading Rock Star

Weekly prizes

Each week, we're selecting students by random drawing from among all students who logged minutes for the week!
We draw one student at each level - elementary, middle and high school. Prize bags include items like books, gift cards to local restaurants or businesses, games, calligraphy sets (secondary), art sets (elementary) and other goodies, plus a Reading Rock Star t-shirt and water bottle.

Grand prizes

Two grand prizes will be awarded per level:
To be eligible for a grand prize drawing, a student must reach the 1000-minute-goal by August 13. Grand prize drawings will be held shortly after the deadline.  Additional prizes include tickets to a Texans game! Thank you to Spring Branch Education Foundation for providing grand prizes and more!

The top five readers (by number of minutes) at each level will be recognized at the August school board meeting!
