Weekly prizes
Throughout the summer, we will be selecting students by random drawing at each level from among all students who logged minutes for the week!
Prize bags include items like books, gift cards to local restaurants or businesses, games and other goodies, plus a Reading Rock Star t-shirt and water bottle.
Grand prizes
Two grand prizes will be awarded for each of the following levels:
-
High school - Oculus Quest 2
-
Middle school - Nintendo Switch
-
Elementary - Dash Coding Robot Kit
To be eligible for a grand prize drawing, a student must reach the 750-minute-goal by August 14. Grand prize drawings will be held shortly after the deadline. Additional prizes include tickets to a Texans game! Thank you to Spring Branch Education Foundation for providing grand prizes and more!
Recognitions
The top five readers (by number of minutes) at each level will be recognized at the August school board meeting!
