The Spring Branch Way
One Goal. One Family. One Set of CORE VALUES.
SBISD adopted a single-focused goal (T-2-4) four belief statements and five core values that, in combination, articulate the District’s educational philosophy and our promise to each other and to our community.
Our Core Values serve as guiding principles that undergird and inform the actions, behaviors and decisions of our Board of Trustees, staff, students, community and partners.
These essential, nonnegotiable ideals and expectations define who we are as Spring Branch ISD, individually and collectively, when we are at our best. Simply put, these Core Values define The Spring Branch Way.
Why do Core Values Matter?
Our five Core Values affirm who we are, what we stand for, how we treat each other, our priorities and the guiding principles we live by as members of the Spring Branch ISD family.
The Five C's make up our Core Values: Every Child, Collaborative Spirit, Collective Greatness, Limitless Curiosity and Moral Compass. They add focus to what matters most and provide a unified sense of purpose.
To reach this level of excellence requires teamwork, intention and consistency.
Our Core Values center us. They define us. They ground us with what is most important and what matters the most. They illuminate what we hold most dear and important and what we strive for and want to protect.
How will Core Values be Implemented?
The Spring Branch Way is not solely words on a wall or a “once-upon-a-time project” to be forgotten when the “next thing” comes along.
Rather, we will work together, with intention, to assure that we hold each other accountable to live these truths. We will deeply embed them into our actions, deeds, decisions, priorities, conversations and celebrations from the Board Room to every classroom, office, bus, playing field and hallway in SBISD.
Our Core Values define us—the Spring Branch Independent School District – when we are at our best. It is our shared responsibility to live, honor and protect them every day. Our children are counting on us to do so, and they deserve our best.
