Volunteer Registration for the 2019-2020 school year is now open! Volunteers are encouraged to apply early so your application can process prior to the start of the new school year.
All volunteers must register and gain approval before starting volunteer service each year. If you were approved to volunteer during the 2018-19 school year, your status is valid until October 1, 2019. After that point, all returning volunteers need to be re-registered and approved for the 2019-2020 school year.
All volunteers must register online at the SBISD website every year and pass a criminal background check. Volunteers in the 2018-19 Volunteer Database may volunteer until September 30, 2019. At that time, the system will reset and all volunteers must re-register before being allowed on campus.
All volunteers must bring a valid, government issued photo ID when they visit or volunteer on campus to have it scanned into the Raptor6 system. Each time you are on campus thereafter, SBISD requires volunteers and visitors to check-in at the front office and wear a Raptor6 issued name badge.
