Updated meal prices for 2024-2025 school year
Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) School Nutrition Services (SNS) announces revised meal prices for the 2024-2025 academic year. Beginning this fall, breakfast will be priced at $1.25, elementary school lunches at $2.50, and secondary school lunches at $2.75. This adjustment, the first since 2016, reflects a 50-cent increase for both breakfast and lunch.
Accessing meals and information online
Families can conveniently manage school meal-related tasks online through SchoolCafe. This platform allows users to view lunch menus, check account balances, make payments, and receive low balance reminders. Additionally, detailed information regarding carbohydrate counts and common food allergens is accessible through the SchoolCafé link.
Families with students attending SBISD campuses that accept Free & Reduced-Price Meal Applications are encouraged to complete their application for their student’s school meal program beginning July 1, 2024. Those interested should complete an application at www.schoolcafe.com/springbranchisd, visit their student’s school or visit School Nutrition Services (SNS) at 1031 Witte Road, Building T2A, Houston, Texas 77055.
CEP No-cost breakfast and lunch for eligible SBISD campuses
For the 2024-2025 school year, eligible SBISD campuses will continue to take part in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This means that students at these campuses will receive breakfast and lunch meals at no cost. Families with students enrolled at a CEP campus are asked to complete the districts online Income Survey at www.schoolcafe.com/springbranchisd.

SBISD has introduced a user-friendly online form for easy submission of benefit information. Submitting this information supports your student and school, ensuring students receive the maximum benefit! The submission process requires minimal information and can easily be completed from a personal computer or mobile device.
