Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) is celebrating seven talented student artists whose work was chosen for display at the Texas Art Education Association’s (TAEA) 2025 txEDCON (TASA/TASB) Exhibition in Houston.
The exhibition, held September 11–14 at the George R. Brown Convention Center, showcased outstanding Pre-K through 12th grade artwork from across Texas as part of the annual Texas Association of School Administrators and Texas Association of School Boards Convention.

Their pieces were displayed alongside works from districts across the state, celebrating the creativity, skill, and hard work of young artists at every grade level.
“This honor reflects not only the talent and dedication of our students, but also the commitment of our teachers and families to supporting the arts,” said Lindsay Ripley, M. Ed., Visual Arts Coordinator. “The arts are vital to a well-rounded education, and we are proud to see our students’ voices represented on a statewide stage.”
The TAEA exhibition underscores the importance of student art in building vibrant school communities and highlights the role of arts education in student success.
