Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) continues its commitment to safe, modern and inspiring spaces for Every Child with the opening of a renovated playground and outdoor facility upgrades at Buffalo Creek Elementary (BCE).
The upgraded playground is more than just a place to play. Designed to encourage physical activity, teamwork and creativity, the improvements give students meaningful ways to grow—strengthening bodies, building friendships and developing character. Other recent bond work at BCE includes replaced play equipment, an improved play field, and a new walking track.
This project is part of the 2017 Bond, which continues to deliver upgrades and enhancements across SBISD.
“Every investment we make in our schools reflects the belief that public education has the power to change lives,” said Travis Stanford, associate superintendent of operations. “Thanks to our community’s support of the 2017 Bond, we are providing the tools, spaces and opportunities our students need to succeed today and into the future.”
